Whether it's gritty, goofy, mysterious, or elegant, my photography showcases what you hold dear in this world in a way that sparks an emotional response.
I specialize in headshots, professional branding, commercial advertising, family portraits, and senior photography. My goal is to capture images that tell a story and reflect your personality or brand.
Do you edit all the photos in your portfolio?
Yes! Every image in my portfolio has been professionally edited to enhance lighting, color, and clarity while maintaining a natural look. I believe in showcasing authentic moments with a polished touch.
Can I request a specific style for my photos?
Absolutely! If you love a particular aesthetic or mood, I’ll work with you to achieve that look while staying true to my professional style. Feel free to share inspiration images before your session.
Planning and preparation
How should I prepare for my photo session?
Preparation is key to a great photoshoot! Here are a few tips:
Get plenty of rest the night before.
Choose outfits that make you feel confident and comfortable.
If you’re doing professional or branding photos, consider professional hair and makeup for a polished look.
If it’s an outdoor shoot, check the weather and plan accordingly.
Most importantly, relax and trust the process—I’ll guide you every step of the way!
What should I wear for my photo session?
Your outfit should reflect the purpose of the session and your personal style.
Headshots/Professional Photos: Stick with solid colors or subtle patterns. Avoid busy prints or logos.
Branding & Commercial: Wear clothing that aligns with your brand’s aesthetic.
Family & Senior Portraits: Coordinated, but not overly matching, outfits work best. Neutral tones and soft colors photograph beautifully.
Do you provide location scouting for sessions?
I'm happy to. I can suggest locations that complement your brand’s style or work with you to find the perfect setting for your shoot.
Can I bring props or accessories to my session?
Absolutely! Props can add a personal touch, especially for branding, commercial, or senior photography. Some ideas:
A laptop or notebook for branding sessions
A cap and gown for senior portraits
Meaningful items like a favorite book or instrument
During the Session
What if I feel awkward in front of the camera?
Don’t worry—I hear this all the time! My job is to guide you with natural poses and prompts that help you feel comfortable and confident. I’ll direct you every step of the way, so you don’t have to stress about “what to do” during the session.
Can I bring someone with me to my session?
Of course! If having a friend or family member there helps you feel more at ease, they are welcome to join. Just keep in mind that too many people can sometimes be distracting, so bringing one supportive person is usually best.
What happens if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
For outdoor shoots, I always keep an eye on the forecast. If we’re facing bad weather (like rain or strong winds), we can reschedule or move to an indoor location. I’ll touch base before your session if any adjustments need to be made.
Can I see the photos during the session?
Yes! I’ll occasionally show you previews on my camera so you can see how everything is looking. This helps us adjust poses, expressions, or styling if needed. However, the best results come after I edit and polish the final images!
editing and delivery
How long does it take to receive my edited photos?
Turnaround time depends on the type of session and the workload I'm under, but typically you can expect something between a week for smaller projects and three for larger ones.
What kind of retouching do you offer?
I focus on natural, professional editing—adjusting lighting, color, and minor touch-ups (like blemish removal or flyaway hairs). I want you to look like you, just at your very best! If you need extensive edits (like background changes or heavy retouching), let’s chat about your options.
In what format will I receive the final images?
Images are delivered in high-resolution digital files suitable for web, print, and marketing use. Additional formats can be provided if needed.
How will I receive my final photos?
Final images are delivered via a private, high-resolution online gallery. You can download them directly and order prints from my professional lab if desired. If you need images in a specific format for social media or commercial use, just let me know!
Special Requests and Customization
Can I request a specific editing style for my photos?
Yes! While I have a signature editing style, I’m happy to adjust tones, contrast, or color grading to match your vision. If you have a particular look in mind, send me examples before the session so we can discuss what’s possible.
Do you offer black & white versions of my photos?
Absolutely! I love the timeless feel of black & white photography. If you'd like some of your final images in black & white, just let me know when selecting your favorites.
Can you Photoshop my images to change or remove something?
I offer light retouching to remove minor distractions (blemishes, stray hairs, etc.), but I believe in keeping images as natural and authentic as possible. If you need significant edits (like removing people, altering body shapes, or changing backgrounds), we can discuss custom retouching options.
Policies and Pricing
What is your pricing for commercial photography?
Pricing is based on the project scope, including session time, editing needs, and usage rights. I provide customized quotes after discussing your needs.
Are there licensing or usage fees for the photos?
No. Once your photos are delivered, they are yours to do as you wish with. I reserve the right to show off some of your photos on my own platforms, but past that - it's all yours!
What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
For commercial projects, I require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. A deposit may be required to secure your session, which is non-refundable for late cancellations.
